Chapter 13: چلیے سنبھل سنبھل کر
"Chaliye Sambhal Sambhal Kar" (چلیے سنبھل سنبھل کر) is the closing essay, and its title means "let us go carefully". The title suggests advice about taking care in daily life, perhaps on the road, at home or online. Children read for information, discuss situations in which care matters and learn vocabulary of caution and safety. It is a long chapter of about fourteen pages and supports comprehension of non-fiction. A final read-only picture story from the Panchatantra, "Topi Wala Aur Bandar", ends the book.
This is chapter 13 of 13 in Sitar, the Class 5 Urdu textbook, and begins on page 171 of the printed 2026-27 book. It is the final chapter, following "چار سکّے". Its form in the contents is: essay. Transliterated title: Chaliye Sambhal Sambhal Kar.
In "چلیے سنبھل سنبھل کر", the aims are fluent reading, clear pronunciation and understanding. Children can be asked to read a few lines aloud, explain what they understood, find new words and use them in a sentence of their own. The book links Urdu with art, environment, science and social science, so discussion can move beyond the text to the child's surroundings. Oral answers come before written ones, and children should not be hurried or discouraged by errors in spelling or script.
Make reading "چلیے سنبھل سنبھل کر" a shared moment. Take turns reading lines, discuss unfamiliar words and look for them in newspapers or signs. Short, daily practice, with praise for effort, helps the script and the language settle.
